The repertoire of the musical performance “Loustri Anatolikα” focuses on Greek culture, covering a wide range of places and times. Traditional music from mainland Greece and Anatolia, rebetiko, art music, and world music are shared with the audience in a unique way. The singing is usually choral and sometimes bilingual (Greek-Turkish), traveling from the City of Batziano to Athens, the center of Greek art music associated with composer Stavros Xarhakos, Pontus, the Piraeus associated with songwriter Markos Vamvakaris, to the contemporary Thessaloniki of “Loustri”.
